The Raven And I

The raven and I.
One wig.
Made of feathers.
Visually cutting the length of my hair.
Leave the light.
The darker times are here.
The day is about to arrive....
The day when the pumpkin turned into a masquerade party.
The masquerade party turned into a mad house.
The mad house turned into monsters.

Monsters will always stay in our minds.
Monsters of all kinds.

  1. Poe would appreciate this, I think! I said it before but I think all that at the end about the monsters reminds me of a line from the 1992 film "Bram Stoker's Dracula." Gary Oldman (as Dracula) said "There is much to be learned from beasts."

Perhaps the monsters we carry around within ourselves are some of the best teachers we could ever have. Perhaps they're good at scaring some life lessons into us.

Good stuff per usual, Doro! xoxo

  2. I Have not seen the Bram Stroker´s Drakula"
But I believe that in every person is a dark side. Its all about balance. A dark side comes with a light and the opposite. What´s important is witch one we choose to use...

  3. Cannot agree more! We must all choose the path we walk. ~Oh, and Doro, when you do finally see that movie, mind the stirring, chilling yet darkly romantic and quite pained score Polish composer Wojciech Kilar composed for it. That music has never left me. <.> Probably my favourite movie music of all time. I play it every Halloween. :p Soooo stirring! xoxo ~C
